Film director


My film work is best known for its

strong element of verité. Being an

actors' director allows me to combine

my passion for characterisation with

a distinct visual approach. Careful crafting in improvisation, dialogue, location and casting are essential

in giving my films that real and observational feel. This can be seen across the advertising campaigns and content films I've made for clients such as Maltesers, Aldi, Xbox, BT,

UK Living, Mercedes Benz, Mars and McDonalds.

  This approach crosses over into

my photographic work, by looking at the everyday lives of people and their environments with an eye for the unusual and the overlooked, the

on-the-way and in-between, hiding

in plain view.
